Holy Cow, we are going to Russia! I think we are both freaking out. Marti, the social worker, called me Wednesday to say she was going on vacation for a week and wanted to make sure we were OK before she left. She then asked if we were interested in going to the Vladivostok region. I have posted some info on it below. It is between China and Japan on the total opposite end of Russia than Tver. Now for the big news, are you sitting down? Their are three siblings waiting to meet us there. THREE!!! Two boys and one girl (Yeah!). The oldest is a boy who is 5, the middle is the girl who is 3 and the youngest is a boy who is two. We will probably be traveling for the first trip in June. The biggest downside right now is that in this region the time between the trips is usually 4 or 5 months. I still can't believe that the adventure is beginning already. Even though we have been waiting for awhile now I wasn't prepared for the call yet (nor was I prepared for it to be THREE!!!). I will try to keep the blog up to date as more info becomes available. Please keep us in your prayers that God leads us to make the right decision for us and for the children.

Hi Eric & Becky! We are a CHI family from St. Louis and we are adopting two siblings from Vladivostok. Currently we are in between trips and waiting for a court date. Vladivostok is great, especially the CHI personnel there! The hardest part is most certainly the long wait between trips. But after meeting our beautiful boys on the first trip, we are more than confident that the Lord knows what he is doing! If you have any questions, we would be more than happy to chat with you. Blessings! joelandclarion@gmail.com
